With over three decades of dedicated public service and a lifelong connection to the outdoors, Dave Cornwell brings a wealth of knowledge, integrity, and local expertise to his real estate career. Dave spent 36½ years with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Bureau of Fisheries, where he developed a deep understanding of New York’s natural resources, waterways, and rural landscapes—an invaluable asset when helping clients find the perfect property.
In addition to his environmental career, Dave served as a Program Advisor for SUNY Cobleskill from 1995 to 2019, mentoring and guiding students while staying actively engaged in his community. Since becoming a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in 2003, he has combined his professional experience with a genuine passion for helping people navigate one of life’s biggest decisions.
Outside of real estate, Dave enjoys growing fruit trees—raising peaches, apples, and pears from seed—and generously shares his success with others, having given away 83 peach tree seedlings in 2025 alone. He also enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, boating, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Dave’s strong work ethic, deep local roots, and approachable nature make him a trusted partner for buyers and sellers alike.
